This Victorian house is in large gardens and has easy access to Edinburgh's city centre by bus.
It offers free Wi-Fi, free parking, large rooms and fresh, home-cooked, traditional Scottish breakfasts. Alba House has a quiet location less than 3. two km from Edinburgh Waverley rail Station. A number of local buses run regularly from the stop outside the guest house. The house was built in about 1860 and the large rooms mix original features with modern comforts. The individually decorated en suite rooms have central heating, TVs, hairdryers, radio alarm clocks, coffee tables, armchairs and tea/coffee. Alba House is family run and prides itself on offering a traditional warm Scottish welcome and a friendly, relaxing atmosphere.

Directions
All roads leading to Edinburgh pass a sign directing them to the City Bypass A720. Take the A720 to Straiton JCT. Then take the A701 towards Edinburgh for approx 2.5 miles. You will go down a steep him and through a set of lights. Go straight through these lights heading towards City Centre and head up Craigmillar Park Road for about 200 yds. Turn right into Alba House car park.;
