Cruachan is the war cry of the ancient and royal clan Campbell whose motto reads 'Ne Obliviscaris' (Do Not Forget).
You are promised a wonderful warm welcome to this very homely, non-smoking guest house in the heart of Edinburgh. A very select breakfast is served in a bright conservatory dining room, which offers full Scottish Breakfast, porridge, local kippers plus a range of homemade salmon fish cakes, tatties, scones and cheese, onion and potato grills. All rooms have central heating, a TV and tea and coffee-making facilities. There is a pay phone for residents' use and a comfortable residents lounge with TV. Cruachan is only a 10-minute walk from Princes Street. Buses frequently pass the front door, and Edinburgh Castle and the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) are just a mile away.
